Job Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s presence in technical domains such as EV, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Smart Grids etc.
You will work closely with the Sales and Application Engineering teams to convert opportunities into long-term business relationships and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
– Identify new business opportunities in universities, R&D labs, industries, and government institutions.
– Develop strategic plans to expand market reach in EV, Power Electronics, and Renewable Energy sectors.
– Generate leads through LinkedIn, networking, cold outreach, exhibitions, and industry events.
– Conduct meetings with decision-makers to understand project requirements.
– Coordinate with technical teams to prepare customized solutions and proposals.
– Prepare techno-commercial proposals, presentations, and business reports.
– Manage complete business cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
– Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
– Track business pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
– Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and new growth areas.
– Support in tender participation and institutional project development.
– Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics preferred) or MBA in Marketing/Business Development.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Basic understanding of technical domains like EV, Power Electronics, HIL, or Renewable Energy is preferred.
– Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into business opportunities.
– Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive approach.
– Willingness to travel for meetings and business expansion activities.
