Job Overview
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key client accounts, and closing high-value technical sales deals. You will work closely with the technical and application engineering teams to deliver customized solutions to universities, R&D labs, industries, and government organizations.
This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to sell complex engineering products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
– Identify and develop new business opportunities in sectors such as EV, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Smart Grids etc.
– Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events.
– Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and product presentations.
– Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions.
– Prepare quotations, techno-commercial proposals, and tender documents.
– Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales successfully.
– Manage complete sales cycle from lead generation to payment collection.
– Maintain long-term relationships with universities, industries, and government institutions.
– Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
– Track sales pipeline and update CRM systems regularly.
– Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and technical conferences to promote products.
– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics preferred) or MBA in Sales/Marketing.
– Minimum 2–5 years of experience in B2B technical sales.
– Strong understanding of technical products in Power Electronics, EV, Automation, or Research Equipment.
– Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
– Ability to handle government tenders and institutional sales is an advantage.
– Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented mindset.
– Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.
